Clemens was called safe, prompting Mikulikto charge toward first-base umpire Andy Russell to protest the call.Protest he did. The agitated Mikulik went nose-to-nose with Russell, who showedconsiderable restraint before tossing the manager. Even after hisejection, Mikulik demonstrated a headfirst slide into second before hepicked up the base and flung it toward the outfield. On his walk towardthe visitors' dugout, Mikulik stopped at the pitcher's mound, picked upthe resin bag and hurled it toward first base."

| Ducks to be Banned from Village Duck Pond"DUCKS have been banned from a village duck pond. The 16 ducks have been branded pests after killing off other wildlife in the pond.They have been allowed to stay to rear their chicks this spring, but will then be rounded up and "relocated".But villagers claim the ducks are a local attraction and children love to go to the pond every day to throw them bread.Andrew Wigley-Jones, 37, said, "My three-year-old daughter Sophie loves going to see the ducks. They are part of the character of the village and they bring the community together."

| We've been beating them up over at pocketpcthoughts.com, but Sony has really lost it. To sum it up, their new Digital Rights Management software (DRM) actually installs a rootkit (malicious back-door software allowing someone else to gain control of part or all of your computer) in your computer in an effort to prevent you from copying the music off the CD. Sony's response when found out? "Most people don't know what a rootkit even is". Yea, that makes us feel better.
So in conclusion, installing backdoor software on your customer's computers is a pretty stupid thing - it's also the beginnings of a boycott...
